Clocks

The Grammy Award Winning Single of the Year Taken from the Hit Album "a Rush of Blood to the Head". Includes Two NON-LP B-tracks.
Customer Review: Over-played, "soaring" anthem!
Despite sounding good after a first listen, this track has suffered from overexposure. I hear it on tv ads touting s__t products; as background music for "inspiring" sports highlights; girl violin groups (you know, the ones trying to make classical "sexy") doing renditions; generally, any person or group looking to create some sense of majesty! oooh! excitement! grandeur! I'm getting chills! Fake nonsense like that. It's not Coldplay's fault. The best thing would be for this song to be deleted as a single and removed from future pressings of "A Rush..."
Customer Review: Brilliant!
As a Coldplay fan I'm obviously quite biased, but this single has got to be the best in a long time. I'll go through the thre tracks: 1. Clocks If you haven't heard this song you must have been living under a rock. My GOD this song is good. It opens with just about the most memorable piano riff ever, then explodes into this incredible, pulsating minimalist masterpiece with the most incredible cryptic lyrics over the top. It just soars. Clocks is a knockout song, one of my favourites of all time and arguably the best on "A Rush of Blood to the Head". It's stellar. You get the idea? Still, unless you buy Coldplay singles just to support the band, it's the B-Sides that are going to make you buy this. So how are they? 2. "Crests of Waves" The first B-side, "Crests of Waves" is a brilliant rock song with a similar sound to "Moses" and some of their new stuff; it's got that same fuzzy rhythm guitar but with vocals that are kind of buried in the music, as in: "Calling out from beneath the waves". In parts it's almost like a draft version of "Clocks", so I can see why it's on here. The first line goes, "It could be worse, I could be alone" and from there you're hooked. The chorus has this kind of suspended-in-the-air riff as Chris sings "hooo ooo ooo" like in lots of Coldplay songs. It's some of the most spine-tinglingly good guitar rock that Coldplay's ever done, and reminiscent of their new live songs. This makes you realise how good Coldplay is; very few bands would have this song as B-side. Five stars for this. 3. "Animals" The second B-side, "Animals" is a slightly arty, with a descending guitar riff and plodding piano. It's got some great moments, particularly when it goes, "animals you are/disposable collapsible and raw", and "I missed my chance by a stone's throw". Chris martin sounds like he's yelling out from the bottom of a well or something; good stuff, if you like Coldplay, although if you don't you might not like it. I think it's live, so if you're annoyed by live B-sides then be warned; although it's not as if you're hearing an album track live, this is original stuff that you can only hear on this EP. I'm aware that not everyone likes coldplay; if you're not a fan then obviously you're not going to like this. I've been eagerly watching the news of their third album. I have a feeling their new sound will be a mix of songs like "Clocks" and songs like "Crests of Waves". "Clocks" is obviously a big statement of their new direction, and "Crests of Waves" is similar to their new live tracks. If the new album was like a long version of what's on this single, then I'd be very happy. This is the new sound, like it or not. As you can see, I like it. So that's my very biased (and very long) review of this single. This single won a Grammy, and very deservedly. It's got just about the best song of 2003, along with two great B-sides. It has two of my favourite Coldplay songs ever. If you're going to buy a Coldplay single just for the heck of it, for god's sake buy this one! You won't be disappointed.

Every true life rock n roll television melodrama has the same scene: the unknown artist/band gives their freshly cut 45rpm single to the local disc jockey. He spins it on his top 40 radio showand a star is born. This legend has been passed down through the generations of wannabe popstars like an ancient family recipe. The ingredients may differ, but in the end you get the same glorious results: radio play equals fame and fortune.

But does this Top of the Charts fairytale still apply today in the sardonic post new millennium world we call today? Can a band in our current music scene walk into a radio station with a CD single in their hot little hands, impress and wow the DJ with their enthusiasm and chutzpa, obtain the magic and golden FM radio spins and then ride the wave of success all the way to Graceland? Well, then, I guess the real question would be, Do you believe in fairytales?

Unfortunately, the music industry, like the entire Earth, has become so overpopulated and so oversaturated with artists, music, CDs, and radio stations/shows of all kinds, that the chance of your own personal radio fairytale coming true is probably slim to none. But, dont give up on your favorite audio media outlet. Radio may not catapult you to instant superstardom but it certainly can help to push you down the path to success.

The following are a few tips that will help you to make your own music fairytale and get your music heard throughout the airwaves:

1.) Get Out Of Major Market The Top 40 Station Mentality---There was a day when getting played on a big city Top 40 radio station was like winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Bands that were chosen for play were handpicked by the voices of the airwaves whose ears were finely tuned to pick out the next new rising star. Today, things are a little different. Radio has become a huge corporation with three major conglomerates owning most of the stations in the United States. Sadly, Disc jockeys are no longer the innovators their predecessors were. Station management hands down a playlist (made exclusively of artists signed to mostly major labels) and the voices you hear on your radio are just thattalking heads animating a script. Its nearly impossible for an unknown band to break into mainstream large metropolis radio and a waste of your time and money to send packages blindly to a medium that will more than likely reject you again and again.

2.) The Specialty Show Is Your Ticket In---Still determined to get played on that hot radio station with 10 million listeners and a celebrity DJ? Well, there is a backdoor that you may be able to slip through. Its the specialty show. Many huge stations feature a weekly show structured just to highlight the little guyto showcase unsigned artists from that stations area and sometimes beyond. These shows are always worth sending your press package to, as they tend to base their playlist on your music and your credentials on not on the typical corporate artist roster. This is where you just might wow that innovative disc jockey and garner play on some of Americas biggest stations.

3.) College Radio Still Rocks---One area of radio that has stayed unaffected by the huge corporate retooling is the college/university station. Unlike companies/labels deciding what the listening audience thinks is cool or hip, college radio DJs and program directors are still setting their own cutting edges, breaking new artists, and finding the hot fresh stars of tomorrow hiding in their local clubs, coffee houses and garages. Its always beneficial for unsigned artists to send as many CDs (or email as many MP3s, if the station will accept that medium) to as many college stations as you can find. You will find stations to play you and people will be listening. This could lead to new fans, tour possibilities, and will definitely look fantastic on the radio page of your website or EPK. Whether or not it will actually make you a rockstar, it will sure make you feel like one.

4.) The Unlimited World Of Independent Radio---Back in the early days of radio, indie stations were limited to audio pirates in their basements stealing airwaves from unsuspecting Top 40 giants. Now, thanks to the internet, satellites, cell phones, iPods and cable TV, independent stations outnumber their AM/FM constituents in the thousands and new ones are created every day. Since doing a search of indie radio stations online has been known to cause a brain embolism in some, know that you will probably never be able to solicit them all in one lifetime and just relax and enjoy sending music to whomever you can, as you will probably garner hoards of airplay. Furthermore, your wallet will grow to love you as most of these stations will allow you to submit MP3s online.

Its true that the legendary story of the unknown band that got one single played on the radio and became superstars within a month is probably as outdated as the 8-Track tape. But that doesnt mean that the process of artists soliciting music for radio play has become archaic. Radio remains, to this day, one of the best ways for musicians to promote their music and their projects in their area.and now, thanks to terrific technological advancements, nationally and worldwide. The repetition of your single in the ears of even the most jaded radio listener, may lead to: CD and merchandise sales, gigging opportunities in your city and others, visits to your website, posts to your fan club forums, potential press and even maybe industry attention. So, dont stop sending those CDs, and emailing those MP3s because the next person who hears your song on the radio might just be the one who leads, either directly or indirectly, to your much sought record deal. And who knows? You might just wind up becoming bigger than Elvis.

MTV Unplugged

On March 6th, Julieta Venegas recorded her MTV Unplugged at the Churubusco Studies in Mexico City, where she presented new songs besides interpreting some of her greatest hits in an intimate atmosphere to a live audience.

This production counts on important and interesting collaborations like two time Oscar winner, Gustavo Santaolalla, who accompanied her with the banjo and sang the chorus of the song "Algun Dia (Someday)". Brazilian singer, Marisa Monte featured in song "Illusion", a new and beautiful song that combines the Spanish and Portuguese language.

Also Mala Rodriguez joined Julieta and included a strong hip hop movement to the song "Eres Para Mi (You are for Me)", whereas the vocalist of Porter, Juan Carlos had a unique participation in "Algun Dia (Someday)".

In addition, the very talented Natalia Lafourcade comprised of the orchestra and played several instruments during the night, whereas the talented musician and composer, Jacques Morelenbaum accompanied Julieta on the cello in "De mis Pasos (From my foot steps)".

Customer Review: A must have DVD - Compralo si o si
A masterpiece. So far the best Unplugged of this decade. Julieta performs great and also in a unique way, full of feeling. Ms. Venegas rocks ! Do a favor yourself and order this DVD now.

Canciones De Mi Padre: A Romatic Evening In Old Mexico

Customer Review: conciones de mi padre
Love this DVD.I have 3 copies,2 in DVD, 1 in vhs. I also have all her Spanish CD's. She has such a beautiful voice.
Customer Review: I love it
I was really young when this came out, but I adored it. My father bought the soundtrack, and I watched it everytime it came on WTTW. My mom made a costume for me that was practically identical to the one Linda Ronstadt wore during "Y Andale." It made me want to learn more about my culture. I still love this concert, and now my son watches it with me.

Batman one of the best movie of all time, from cartoon series, tv series, and even on the big screen. Lots of people specially kids really love this movie. This movies have lots of award. Some of this are:

Batman Awards:

1989 Best Art Direction Peter Young

Golden Globe

1989 Best Actor - Musical or Comedy Jack Nicholson

1989 Best Film (in Drama)

and more..

The 1960s Batman TV series focuses on Bruce Wayne, a multi-billionaire living in crime capital Gotham City. Bruce Wayne is Batman a crime fighting super hero that uses only his wits and some advance gadgets and vehicles to combat criminals and bring them to justice. When Bruce was just a child hes parents were murdered in front of him, because of this Bruce trained himself to become tough enough to fight thugs and criminals. Along with Bruce is Dick Grayson a former circus acrobat who became Batmans sidekick Robin, they secure Gotham from bigtime criminals such as the Joker, Penguin, Scarecrow, the Riddler and Catwoman.

Batman (1960s TV series)

The series debuted on January 12, 1966 and was marked for its high camp, and continues to be the version many associate with the Batman character despite it perhaps being least representative of the many versions.

Despite the abhorrence of the TV series by Batman's fans of the 1970s through the present day, the live-action TV show was extraordinarily popular; at the height of its popularity, it was the only prime-time TV show broadcast twice in one week as part of its regular schedule, airing on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The hippie counterculture of the 1960s enjoyed the fact that even though they would eventually win and put the bad guys in jail, Batman and Robin portrayed the forces of "law and order" as being woefully humorless, "square", and unaware of the fact that the world was laughing at them.

The series was produced in the United States of America and debuted at 7:30, Wednesday evening, January 12, 1966 on ABC television, at a time when other popular TV series included The Andy Griffith Show and The Wild Wild West. The Batman series set a standard that identifies it as a product of the 1960s. It was known for its silly high camp humour and continues to be the version some associate with the Batman character despite it being least reflective of the Batman mythos as it is known today. (The series was very reflective of the character as portrayed in comics in the late 1950s and early 1960s.)

Malus Clothing - Latin For Evil - T-Shirt

The word fibromyalgia comes from the Latin term for fibrous tissue (fibro-) and the Greek ones for muscle (-myo-) and pain (-algia). It is also known as fibrositis. It is a syndrome characterized by chronic pain, stiffness, and tenderness of muscles, tendons, and joints without detectable inflammation.Fibromyalgia does not cause body damage or deformity. However, undue fatigue plagues the large majority of patients with fibromyalgia and

Fibromyalgia is considered an arthritis-related condition. However, it is not a form of arthritis (a disease of the joints) since it does not cause inflammation in the joints, muscles, or other tissues or damage them. But fibromyalgia can (like arthritis) cause significant pain and fatigue and it can similarly interfere with a person's ability to carry on daily activities.

Irritable bowel syndrome may occur with fibromyalgia.Other symptoms of fibromyalgia may include headaches, painful menstrual periods, numbness or tingling of the extremities, restless legs, temperature sensitivity, and cognitive and memory problems (sometimes referred to as "brain fog").

Fibromyalgia tends to affect women. Only 10 to 20% of people with fibromyalgia are men. The diagnosis of fibromylgia in both women and men is usually made during middle age, although the symptoms may be present earlier in life. People with certain rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus), or ankylosing spondylitis (spinal arthritis) are more likely to also have fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia is not always easy to diagnose because many of the symptoms mimic those of other disorders, there are no visible signs of the disorder that a physician can see and there is no definitive laboratory test for fibromyalgia. The diagnosis of fibromyalgia is a clinical diagnosis. It is based on a history of chronic widespread pain that persists for more than 3 months in combination with tenderness in at least 11 of 18 specific tender point sites. Treatment is most effective when it incorporates combinations of education, stress reduction, exercise, and medication. A study has shown that aerobic exercise, such as swimming and walking, improves muscle fitness and reduces muscle pain and tenderness. Heat and massage may also give short-term relief. Patients with fibromyalgia may benefit from a combination of exercise, medication, physical therapy, and relaxation. Recommendations for prevention and treatment

1.Obtain delayed food IgG allergy testing, such as that available at New Hope Medical Center. This requires fasting for 12 hours prior to a blood draw.148 food antigens are tested against the patient's blood. Reactions are viewed under a microscope and recorded by digital camera. The patient is then given a consultation, along with an instruction manual, on how to correct this situation. If the patient's blood is too reactive, then a few intravenous infusions may become necessary prior to the blood draw in order to reduce this hyperactive state and obtain a more accurate test result.

2.Avoid processed foods (e.g., as white flour), refined foods (e.g., as white sugar), and stimulants such as coffee, tea, and tobacco (See "Smoking Addiction") as these can all depress your immune system.

3. Make an effort to increase your consumption of water.Attempt to drink eight glasses of purified or reverse osmosis water daily.

4. Ensure that your bowels move at least once daily by increasing your fiber consumption in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables. Oat bran and psyllium husk are also good sources of fiber. Coffee enemas can be very helpful here, as well as for stimulating liver detoxification via bile production.(See "Constipation")

5. Check your thyroid function by measuring your basal body temperature. This is done by placing a thermometer under your arm for 10 minutes before arising from bed on two consecutive days. For menstruating women, this is best done at the beginning of the menstrual cycle. The average basal body temperature should be greater than 97.8 degrees. If not, a trial of natural thyroid should be considered. (See "Hypothyroidism").

6. Consider a course of Cortef with a Micro dose Protocol.Cortef is a weak, water soluble steroid that helps to raise the body's threshold of pain by raising its natural cortisol level. It is given in a gradually decreasing amount over 2-3 weeks after which the patient may be placed on "booster doses" 4-5 days each week as needed for pain. This is a great way to interrupt the cycle of chronic pain and without the side-effects of Prednisone.

7.Consider an evaluation for free radical damage from environmental pollutants such as lead, aluminum, cadmium, and mercury. If elevated, heavy metal detoxification therapy is indicated. (See "Chelation Therapy").

8.Supplement with antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, E, Bioflavonoid, and Coenzyme Q10, B-vitamins, magnesium, free-form amino acids, thymus gland, and acidophilus. Consider also using Proteolytic enzymes, DMG, and vitamin B12 injections. Chlorophyll in tablet or liquid (such as barley or wheat grass) is also helpful.

9.Herbal preparations from burdock root, dandelion, echinacea, goldenseal and pau d'arco all promote healing. These can be made in teas and combined or alternated daily.

10.Homeopathic nosode preparations, such as those made from viruses themselves, are particularly helpful. However, these must be obtained by prescription from a homeopathic physician.Other homeopathic remedies known to be helpful in fatigue include Carbo Vegetabilis, Cocculus, Ferrum Phosphoricum, and Phosphoric Acidum.Combination remedies can also be helpful, especially if they contain the substance (e.g, virus) identified as the possible source of infection and/or fatigue. Isode therapy (e.g., preparations made from the patient themselves) can also be very beneficial here.

11.Take sublingual fermented lactobacillus three times daily for immune stimulation.

12.Gentle skin detoxification through a medical spa with steam sauna, infrared sauna, and/or contrast shower.

13.In severe cases, get intravenous solutions for better and more complete response. There should include either vitamin C or amino acids or combinations of both.

14.Intramuscular injections can be helpful for the delivery of energy medicines (e.g., B5, B12, AMP, NADH). These can be given 1-2 times weekly.

15.Subcutaneous energy injections can be administered daily and can include not only some of the products mentioned in #12 above, but homeopathic preparations as well.

The band first came together under the name Starfish at Camden Laurel tree, but the name Coldplay originated in a poem. From the very first it was obvious that in Chris Martin, a new and vibrant ?oice?had arrived and since their record signing in 1996
Customer Review: Passionate and Compassionate with Global Appeal
"It was musical love at first sight." ~Chris Martin talking about when he met Johnny Buckland Although this DVD doesn't contain any music by Coldplay, it is an insightful look at the band and how they made their way from playing in London pubs to playing on the stage of the world. Through short interviews with Chris Martin, you also get a sense of his higher mission and why there are more important things to worry about in the world, besides of course, buying ever album this band releases. His sense of humor and playful personality come across in his interviews and his admirable qualities include a sense of fairness. I was impressed by his idea to split the royalties equally amongst the band members. He not only promotes healing in the world, he is living his beliefs. He seems grateful for his life and you can see the fire of his soul radiating through his eyes. His soul is truly beautiful and I love the way he approaches life from a more poetic perspective. His lyrics have an emotive quality that do seem to be portraying his heart-felt concern for individuals and their struggles on the planet. As the story progresses various individuals in the music industry comment on how Coldplay developed their stage presence, how they had to deal with minor personality conflicts and then how their manager truly enabled their success through financial support. The main sections include: How it all Began First Gigs Let's Make a Record Get Signed Yellow Parachutes Breaking America A Rush of Blood to the Head The Future Bonus: Biography and Trivia Quiz - Questions about the bands original name and interesting facts about Chris Martin and how he was once a sign painter. The rise of any band to superstar status does seem to have common elements and if you are starting a band then this would be an excellent DVD to view for the chronological aspects alone, not to mention the realities of having to write hundreds of songs to find that one perfect song that connects with your audience. If you are a fan who is dying to know more about the members and their life stories, then this is an excellent introduction to the background and philosophy of Coldplay. The friendship factor is very evident in how Johnny Buckland and Chris play off each other intellectually, during the interviews. At times it seems like they are one mind as they engage in a humorous exchange. This DVD puts the bands rise to fame in perspective and is a great introduction to Coldplay's albums. The biography section is fairly short, however it gives enough information to get you interested in finding out more about each band member. ~The Rebecca Review

The art of brutality in its purest, rawest form. That is what UFC offers, or at least it did at one time. Gone are the days of the blood-lust, the modern UFC looks more like a ballet. In its primitive beginnings UFC was the anything goes, bare knuckle blood fest that pulled from underground foreign fighting circuits and targeted the violence nurtured American populace. It was for people who liked to watch men destroy each other, plain and simple. Now, UFC has adapted itself to the mainstream. Instead Oh, my god, how much more can he take? commentators are more likely to be heard saying My god, the ref called that on in a hurry. What prompted this radical change in style?

When The Ultimate Fighter started on UFC, the producers knew some changes had to be made. Even under the protections of late night cable, a weekly UFC was not going to get away with the dangers of the no holds barred style. What if, for example, someone was seriously injured, or even killed? The adjustments were made, and thus UFC crept into the mainstream.

Once heralded as the ultimate underground fighting promotion, UFC is now regarded as the contender to take over for Boxing as the century rolls on. Pundits argue that the diverse styles that UFC attracts place their fighters above boxers in terms of intelligence and dynamics. UFC fighters can be anything from Ninjas to street brawlers, it is hard to say, unless you are a seasoned fan, what direction a UFC fight is going to go in. Is it going to be a submission showdown? Or a knockout? This is part of the glamour of the fight.

As UFC moves further and further from its underground roots with charismatic fighters replacing the scarred warriors of past days, it seems nothing can stop it from becoming the sporting event of the future.

Live 2003

This time in history has been called the Age of Terrorism. While the term is appropriate, the Age of Culturalism might be a better fit. Culturalism is akin to the rise of nationalism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As we recall, the growth of nationalism saw the destruction of empires and the birth of many nation-states. It also led to international conflicts.

Culturalism is pride and devotion to a culture, rather than a nation. In the mid to late 1900s American culture took the world by storm. From blue jeans, rebels without causes, rock and roll, hippies and fast food, American culture invaded the far reaches of the planet. No bombs, troops or missiles were needed to be able to get a Big Mac, Pepsi, Coke or Kentucky Fried Chicken in countries that were considered hostile to U.S. interests. Pax Americana was basically the Americanization of the planet, much to the dismay of foreign cultural traditionalists.

The history books are also replete with the cultural invasions during the colonial period. The cultures of places such as India, China, Latin American and Africa took the brunt of Western cultural onslaughts that sought to glorify the white mans burden as it destroyed traditional societies. Native religion barely survived the missionaries who went forth in the name of God to save the heathens from their pagan worship.

The tide has begun to shift. Muslims have culturally invaded Europe. Latinos are striking back in America. Fast foods in the U.S. now promote the burrito and scores of other Latin sounding meals. Even in the guise of have it your way the taco or some form of spacey Latin dish adorns the menu marquis. The European Union bloc, according to the AP, now numbers at least 13 million Muslims and the growth of Islamophobia is on the rise. In Spain, thousands of Africans are fleeing to its shores in search of jobs. Some in the UK are now pushing for schools to teach traditional British values lest they be lost in the new cultural invasions.

It could be argued that turnabout is fair play. For centuries, the West has dominated to cultural world. And now, ever so slowly, those who were colonized and whose cultures once faced extinction, are on the move, changing the very fabric of Western society. There is no question that the news is filled with an ever growing numbers of hate crimes on the part Western countries toward their new immigrants. Only time will tell whether these new cultural invasions will remain relatively peaceful, of if the violent scenarios played out during the U.S.s civil rights will be repeated and, perhaps even exaggerated.

Happy 75th to your Dad! How about having some "oldies" going in the background and have tables arranged so there can be dancing going on after dinner? Or sending guests a form (well before the party, with instructions to get that form back to you), and have each person write down a good memory involving your Dad. He will cherish these. You can put the filled out forms into book form (or put nicely into a scrapbook) and he can look back on this and enjoy it for many years.

It might be fun to dig up some info from the year he was born and stand up, maybe in between courses and announce what the price of milk was in the year Dad was born, who was president, the most popular music, dance, etc.

Some trivia games (with small prizes awarded to winners, perhaps), perhaps historical questions (again, around your dad's year of birth) or seeing who can answer the most questions about your Dad (questions can be as simple as his favorite food, color, favorite vacation, that type of thing).

Celebrating such a milestone is always a lot of fun. It's a time to reflect on the years past and share all the memories the family and friends have of the guest of honor.

Family trivia questions with dividing up the guests into teams can be lots of fun, and if you are someone you know are technically savvy you can put together slide show/video of his life from the begging until now...choose songs that fit the era the photos are from.

Get the entire family involved by making some very special memories for your dad. Ask each child and/or grandchild to write a one-page memoir of his or her most special memories. Then put them into a scrapbook and display it on a table for all to see. Guaranteed he will still be looking at it years to come.

You might want to have someone with a digital or Polaroid camera take photos of the guest in their black and white garb...in a simple white frame they have a nice little souvenir of the party.

To follow the theme you might do a short trivia game, teaming up guests, 3 to 4 to a team. Make all the questions about your wife ranging from very easy to impossible to answer. Guests get into a very competitive mood and have a lot of fun trying to answer the most questions correctly.

At the "sound of the bell" or time's up whistle teams pass their answer sheet to the team to the right (does this sound a lot like school??) and the answers are corrected. Prizes for the team that gets the most correct. Trivia questions should be from her childhood (family and oldest friends can answer those) her school days, her work days, and her current life. About 20 questions are good.

Those are both activities that are fun and memorable. Then with the visiting, music, food and drink you will have a beautiful beach party.

Do you feel overwhelmed? Are you agitated and don't have a clue why? You could be experiencing energy overload! Read on to learn how to harness valuable energy for clear thinking, a loving heart, and greater awareness.

A reader asked me,

"How do we cope with the stress of the higher vibrational levels coming into our bodies and onto the planet at an unimaginably fast pace right now?"

The higher intensity energy has been on my mind quite a bit. I see it's effects world-wide in the daily news. Learning how to harness this energy safely is an important task for us all. I will share with you what I have learned.

Symptoms of Energy Overload

  • You feel irritated or angry and don't have a clue why
  • You are spaced out and can't focus or remember what you are supposed to be doing
  • You feel tired and can't think
  • You get headaches and stomach aches
  • You feel disconnected from yourself
  • You blame others for your uncomfortable feelings
  • You last out at others with a lack of self-control
Actions you can take to harness the energy and benefit from it

You must Exercise. The energy naturally travels through the nervous system. When it is too intense for the nervous system, we feel freaked out, angry, and agitated. Exercise draws the energy out into the muscles where it is more beneficial to the body. Pilate's, yoga, weight lifting, swimming, cardio are all good, but strength training like weight lifting is the most effective way to draw the energy out into your muscles. If you are not doing a form of weight lifting, consider adding it to your exercise program.

Movement is essential! Prayer walking is a most beneficial way to move the energy through your body productively. Walk at a vigorous pace while praying for yourself and others. Also use this time to pray about important topics and then listen to gain understanding.

Dance. Put on some music that just makes you want to move! Could be any style from slow or sensuous to heavy metal and jumping around, or anything in between. Let the energy dance your body. Let go of concerns of life and want to be taken over by the love of the Lord. Dancing in prayer and intention gets the energy into every cell of your body and fragment of your being to help you function clearly and effectively. Following a dance session, sit in silence and listen for inner guidance. It will be clearest after this kind of connection with yourself and God.

Eat red meat. It is difficult to sustain health without eating red meat with the influx of this intense energy. I find I must a eat large amount of red meat to stay present and functional in my body. Of course, you must consider your unique body needs.

The reader who asked the question suggests a short 10 - 20 minute time out to either rest, meditate, practice deep breathing, or nap.

Benefits of harnessing the energy

  • You feel balanced, calm, and present
  • Your mind is clear and you feel highly functional
  • Your body feels stronger and more capable
  • It is easier to connect with the truest part of your being
  • Your awareness is enhanced
  • You feel energized and alive
  • Being present within yourself results in greater self-responsibility
  • Your heart is available for LOVE!
  • You care greatly about the wellbeing of others
  • You want to connect with others
  • You have no time for non-sense

Trouble

The Fourth Single to Be Released from Coldplay's Double Platinum Album 'parachutes'.
Customer Review: fraction of Parachutes
I thought this was the best Coldplay cd I could get in terms of sound and price. I don't really know how to review or rate it since my love for Coldplay blossomed a while ago, in 1999, when "Parachutes" came out. In my decision to purchase any Coldplay music, two requirements had to be fulfilled, preferably using the least money possible. 1. The cd had to either have "Shiver," "Don't Panic," or "Trouble," my favorite old Coldplay songs, on it. 2. The cd had to have "Brothers and Sisters" on it. And this was the cd to get. The version of "Shiver" isn't live but acoustic. The version of "Brothers and Sisters" isn't the exact one I was looking for, but it's still good. I think that one is toned down a bit more (acoustic) as well. In short, this single is a little part of "Parachutes", containing some of its best songs and an extra. But if you've never been exposed to Coldplay, go buy "Parachutes" instead and don't bother with singles until you've owned all their albums and major EPs.
Customer Review: The Under Dog of Lost Reviews
Any way this artical is about whats going on with the lack of coldplay music. Take my friends brother he hasn't even heard of the band Coldplay. I'm not the kind of person who just goes on about how great the band is, in fact it's not even my favorite band or song I'm just saying that it's time they were reconized for what they have done with there music. Their music videos are like nothing I've seen for a long time. so if your not sure if you want to buy this cd go to the music downloads and listen you might be suprized. Yours Truly, ixBrel rteeP

The super talented group Bloodsimple have released their most recent CD on the Reprise recording label, entitled Red Harvest.

It's a rare day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I'm more than happy to announce thats exactly what I must say about this one. There simply is NOT a bad one in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song standing tall on it's own.

Red Harvest is a pleasantly varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly outstanding musicians. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

Listen to Red Harvest and I believe youll find there's not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and this is clearly the work of a group of musicians in top form. So much so that if you're even mildly into Rock music you'll enjoy this CD.

While this entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 4 - Dead Man Walking, track 6 - Suck It Up, and track 11 - Numina Infuscata

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is Ride With Me. Good stuff!
